Alchemy Test

I just tried out this app I found thanks to Lifehacker. It's called Alchemy http://al.chemy.org/ It's an idea program, not for the final painting, but it sure helps come up with some serendipitist painting moments. Here's a piece I did with the mouse. Can't wait to use my tablet with it!

Environment sketch

Couldn't seem to get anything to turn out right last night, but I pushed through it and churned out this sketch. I jokingly added lens flare, but I ended up liking it :/

ZBrush Sculpt

I did a self portrait in ZBrush awhile back, but I forgot to upload it -- I think. Maybe I'll post the other one as well. I need to put more time into 3d sculpting, and ZBrush is a great way to do that.

Rock Beast

I finally have internet back! Very exciting, but my tablet has been in and out of working order. Hopefully formatting my computer has fixed it entirely. I've also been playing some video games with my brother who just returned from Iraq, so I suppose I won't be updating as often for awhile.

I did manage to finish up this concept. For this one I did a random process to come up with a shape I found appealing. Not the best way to draw, but it can be fun.

Drawing in Flash

I've been away for awhile due to the lack of internet at my house. I've been sketching a lot still, but my tablet keeps messing up so most of my sketches are on real paper lately. I did manage to play around with Flash for awhile last night and did a few rough animations. After I did that I thought I'd try the draw capabilities of Flash. It has some interesting results with lines, so I'm sure I'll play around with it later.

Tattoo - Family Crest

I designed this tattoo for a friend of mine, and it will be their family crest to pass through generations. I have to say I was very honored to design a family crest.

I havn't been posting too often because I recently moved and I also don't have any internet. I have been drawing, but no finished works to post. As soon as a I get internet I'll get some more stuff up here.

I can't wait to reattach my robotic wacom drawing arm!
